Another example of innovative gum acacia solutions is Beyond Acacia® is a unique range of acacia gum in high density granules that combines environmental exemplarity with technological excellence.
This new range showcases Alland & Robert’s commitments to the environment: The Beyond Acacia® range enables direct and indirect greenhouse gas emissions to be reduced by 51.1% (scopes 1 + 2), and a reduction by 13.5% of emissions upstream and downstream in the value chain (scope 3), compared to standard gum acacia.
The Beyond Acacia® range’s improved solubility and dispersion capacity enables a reduction in energy use during the end user’s industrial process. The granules dissolve completely without being heated. This new granularity ensures excellent hydration properties, which maximise the efficiency of the dispersion process. The occurrence of foam and quantities of particles are reduced, which also improves fluidity and reduces the occurrence of graininess.
With Beyond Acacia®, all the functional properties of acacia gum are preserved: once dissolved, the quality is identical to standard ranges. These characteristics offer a host of benefits for all industrial operators using acacia gum in their products.
