This innovative range combines environmental exemplarity with the technological excellence of highly soluble gum acacia

Beyond Acacia® is a unique range of gum acacia in high-density granules with a low carbon footprint. This innovative range combines environmental exemplarity with the technological excellence of highly soluble gum acacia.

Leader in gum acacia Alland & Robert has been investing heavily in creating solutions to promote safe, healthy and sustainable food products. With the opening of a fourth production line in Normandy, France, Alland & Robert has now doubled its production area and launched Beyond Acacia®, an innovative range of gum acacia.

Beyond Acacia®, optimised granules of gum acacia committed to a low-carbon footprint

Compared to standard gum acacia, Beyond Acacia® provides a decrease of 51.1% in direct and indirect greenhouse gas emissions (scopes 1 + 2). The gum acacia carbon footprint is reduced to a minimum. The better solubilisation and higher dispersion capacity of the Beyond Acacia® range make it possible to reduce energy consumption in the user industrial process.

All the functional properties of gum acacia are preserved: Beyond Acacia® is highly soluble and easier to use. Its new granularity ensures excellent hydration properties, which maximise the efficiency of the dispersion process. Its solubilisation is optimised, even when cold. Foam production and dust quantities during the process are reduced, improving fluidity and reducing the production of lumps.

Innovations to promote healthy and sustainable diets

Last year, Alland & Robert launched Syndeo® Gelling, a vegan gelling agent based on gum acacia to substitute gelatin and other non-vegan gelling agents. This April, Alland & Robert introduced an outsourcing programme for Research & Development called Alland & Robert Services, which consists of custom-designed innovation projects on encapsulation, emulsions, ingredient substitution or nutritional improvement.
