Move Nutrition Network, the essential conduit between research and the Sports and Active Nutrition Industry, has revealed its Advisory Board, incorporating a range of experts reflective of its mission.
“We are grateful to have such influential members of the sports & active nutrition community helping to guide us forward,” said Move Nutrition founder, Todd Pauli. “These industry experts will support our goal of bringing the most important performance nutrition information forward to educate the sports and active nutrition industry and the individuals it influences.“
The board will be responsible for providing strategic guidance to help grow Move Nutrition and offer insights into the industry segments the network serves. Board members will also be tasked with offering editorial input for Move Quarterly, the network’s digital magazine that takes an in-depth look at one important sports & active nutrition topic each issue.
The Advisory Board Members are:
Erik Bustillo, FISSN: a Dietitian, strength coach, and health coach to all athletes including tactical, professional, Olympic, collegiate, high school, and recreational with over a decade of experience in lifestyle coaching, educating on research, nutrition science, and habit change as well as corporate wellness.
Alexis Collins, Director of Product & Brand Strategy at Stratum Nutrition: a scientist and researcher with broad experience in nutrition and medicine, including over 10 years of working in the dietary supplement industry with a large focus on ingredient research and development.
Leo Cullen, A C-Level executive: with 35+ years’ experience in the health and nutrition industry. Proven transformational leader with various organizations ranging from large multi-national organizations to entrepreneurial start-ups.
Scott Dicker is a Market Insights Director for SPINS, a leading wellness-focused data company and advocate for the Natural Products Industry. With a background in nutrition, he believes in the importance of making wellness options more accessible to everyone and that demystifying data can make that happen.
Susan Kleiner PhD, RD, FACN, CNS, FISSN: pioneer in the field of nutrition, performance, and health, as a practitioner, consultant, educator, and motivator speaking worldwide to coaches, athletes, and industry on these topics. She is the founder and owner of High Performance Nutrition, LLC, where she has consulted with national and international sports teams, Olympians, and elite athletes in countless sports, along with her work as an industry consultant.
Len Monheit: has been in the healthy lifestyle industry for over 20 years, with deep expertise in the health ingredient sector and executive roles in business to business media as founder of NPIcenter, then with New Hope Natural Media, Nutrition Business Journal, Probiota and NutraIngredients. During his career, Len has guided ingredient, supplement, and natural products companies globally on trend analysis, market, regulations, supply chain and growth strategy. Len is CEO of strategy, data and insights firm Industry Transparency Center, and serves as Executive Director of the Global Prebiotic Association.
Bryan Morin: has been in the natural foods industry for more than 10 years. He manages a portfolio of 130 NOW® products across eight sports nutrition categories. In 2018, Bryan played an integral part in getting the majority of NOW Sports products third-party certified through the highly regarded Informed-Sport Certification program through LGC.
Suzanne Shelton: has handled public relations for international and domestic dietary supplement and natural products manufacturers and suppliers since founding The Shelton Group in 1990. In addition to taking very good care of her clients, several of whom have kept her on retainer for literally decades, she is actively involved in advocating industry best practices and fostering growth.
Trisha Vandusseldorph, PhD, CSCS-D, FISSN: is the Director of Clinical Research at Bonafide Health, LLC, Adjunct Professor of Exercise Science at Jacksonville University, and the current President of the International Society of Sports Nutrition (ISSN). Dr. VanDusseldorp continues to advise and work with students on sports nutrition research and contributes to ISSN position stands. She is also a Certified Sports Nutritionist (ISSN) and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (NSCA).
