The winners of the 29th Annual Communicator Awards have officially been announced by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AIVA) on May 2.
Faravelli, an international distributor of chemical raw materials, has shared that its three communications projects presented at the 2023 edition got great recognition.
The company was honoured with two Awards of Excellence - the highest accolade – for FARAemotions (category Design Features-Overall Design) and “Behind a great group are always great women” (category General-Corporate Social Responsibility) campaigns.
It also received an Award of Distinction for the The Great Satisfaction Campaign (B2B advertising campaigns – Film and Video category).
The Award of Excellence, the highest honour, is given to those entrants whose ability to communicate positions them as the best in the field. Award of Excellence winners are showcased in the Interactive Winners Gallery. The Award of Distinction is presented for projects that exceed industry standards in quality and achievement.
“We couldn’t be happier in receiving these accolades from such a respected organisation as the AIVA and we are really grateful to the jury for their appreciation,” said Silvia Di Tommaso, Communications Manager at Faravelli - Winning the Communicator Awards has given us great satisfaction as is a validation of our work and we are delighted that our efforts are celebrated among those of so many brilliant entrants.”

The Communicator Awards is the leading international awards program honouring talent in this highly competitive field. Founded nearly three decades ago, in 2023 the Communicator Awards received almost 3,000 entries from companies, agencies, studios, and boutique shops of all sizes, making it, globally, one of the largest award shows of its kind.
The Communicator Awards is judged and curated by AIVA the Academy of Interactive & Visual Arts, an invitation-only group consisting of top-tier professionals from acclaimed media, communications, advertising, creative and marketing firms.
Current AIVA membership represents a "Who's Who" of acclaimed media, advertising, and marketing firms including GE Digital, Spotify, Condè Nast, Disney, Accenture Song, Superfly, Fast Company, Digitas, and many others. See aiva.org for more information.
The panel of jurors include some of the biggest names in the industry from all areas of marketing and communication.
Winning entries for The Communicator Awards are selected by the AIVA to uphold our commitment to fairness and merit-based achievement. This ensures each entry is afforded an equal chance of winning an award, as all entries are reviewed to evaluate distinction in creative work.
In determining Excellence and Distinction Winners, entries are judged on their merits against a standard of excellence considering the category entered. A category may have multiple winners, or may have none.
Entries are scored on a 100-point scale by the judges. Generally, Excellence Winners receive a score of 90 or above and Distinction Winners receive a score of 70 to 89.
