ExcelVite (EV), the first and only PIC/S GMP-certified palm phytonutrients producer will exhibit at SupplySide West 2017 (booth Q126) and share new science on EVNol SupraBio — the patented and bioenhanced palm tocotrienol complex — vis-à-vis the latest published novel pathway for hair follicles regeneration and EVTene mixed carotene complex for healthy weight management.
A 2010 randomised, double-blind and placebo-controlled study reported potential hair growth promotion effect of palm tocotrienol complex (EVNol SupraBio) in subjects experiencing ongoing hair loss.
In that study, volunteers supplemented with 100 mg of mixed-tocotrienol complex daily experienced an average of 34.5% increase in hair count, whereas the placebo group experienced 0.1% reduction.
In 2007, ExcelVite was granted a patent (No. 7,211,274) for EVNol SupraBio as a novel hair growth formulation owing to its proven efficacy.
At SupplySide West 2017, ExcelVite will share with customers and visitors the latest discovery of a novel pathway by which palm mixed tocotrienol complex (EVNol and EVNol SupraBio) promotes hair follicle regeneration.
The significant potential benefits of this effect include hair growth and delay in skin ageing by returning plasticity to the skin.
Together with the human clinical study, US patent and this novel pathway, it allows companies to develop a standalone or proprietary synergistic formulation with EVNol and EVNol SupraBio for healthy skin and hair.
New research is also emerging for EVTene palm mixed-carotene that shows its potential benefits in healthy weight management, eye health and telomere protection (antiageing). These exciting studies will also be shared at this premier ingredient exhibition.
“SupplySide West continues to be one of the most important and largest nutraceutical events in the world and I can’t wait to meet friends in the industry and new contacts as well as to share the latest results and clinical findings on our flagship products — EVNol SupraBio and EVTene,” says Bryan See, Business Development Manager, ExcelVite.
