Davos Life Science has brand new name, DavosLife E3 (formerly known as Naturale 3) for their range of Tocotrienol-Rich Fraction (TRF) products. This change is part of the company's rebranding initiative.
Each colour in the logo denotes its respective significance. The green represents commitment to being an environmentally responsible company entrusted with supplying quality sustainable products. The orange signifies energy while illustrating continuous improvement towards better health and enriching life naturally.
DavosLife E3
DavosLife E3 is isolated and concentrated from non-GMO palm fruits (Elaeis guineensis), one of the richest source of natural vitamin E Tocotrienols, with a concentration of up to 800 mg/kg.
DavosLife E3 TRF contains a complete spectrum of Tocotrienol isomers and a-Tocopherol at the optimal ratio that occurs naturally, working synergistically to promote broader health benefits.
DavosLife E3 has been granted US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) self-affirmed GRAS status for use as ingredient in functional foods and beverages. It has also been approved for use in dietary supplements in Australia, Japan, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Canada and the US.
Tocotrienol
Tocotrienol is as used in cosmetic and personal care products, based on the safety assessment conducted by the Cosmetic Ingredient Review (CIR) Expert Panel.
Tocotrienol is shown to possess up to 60 times more superior anti-oxidative activity compared to a-Tocopherol. In addition, Tocotrienol’s distinct chemical structure gives it more fluidity, enabling its cellular uptake in biological systems to be up to 70 times higher than a-Tocopherol.
TRF
Numerous studies over the past two decades have shown that TRF is widely promoted for cardiovascular protection and heart health. TRF is also being researched for benefits in neuroprotection and cognitive health, bone health, liver health, blood sugar metabolism and cancer.
TRF is a powerful anti-ageing ingredient suitable for skin care applications. It is proven to accelerate wound healing and to protect cell membranes and DNA from free radical damage which delay ageing signs such as wrinkles and fine lines.
Latest research findings
In the past, studies showed absorption of Tocotrienols in the human body is typically enhanced in the presence of a high-fat diet but there is still high variability in absorption efficiency between individuals.
Scientific studies have shown that DavosLife E3 improves cardiovascular function by reducing cardiac hypertrophy and increasing contractility by 49% and 56% respectively in a high-fat diet model.
DavosLife E3 also normalises systolic blood pressure, reduces collagen deposition and reduces inflammatory cell infiltration in the heart.
DavosLife E3 Bio-Enhanced 20
DavosLife E3 Bio-Enhanced 20 is a patent-pending SEDS (Self-Emulsifying Delivery System) formulated TRF that offers high oral bioavailability compared to market product.
Upon ingestion, DavosLife E3 Bio-Enhanced 20 forms micro/nano emulsion in the gut which enables high absorption into the body and reduces breakdown in the liver, independent of dietary fat or food intake.
A human clinical study in 2017 conducted by the company's researchers and a university hospital in Malaysia showed that DavosLife E3 Bio-Enhanced 20 delivers 46% higher oral bioavailability than market product.
DavosLife E3, The Next Generation Vitamin E, is a trusted brand as an ingredient in dietary supplements, functional foods, beverages, cosmetic and personal care products.
Regulatory standards
DavosLife E3 range of products complies with all major international regulatory standards on Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs) and other contaminants in food and health supplements.
