French nutraceutical specialist Activ'Inside has launched Celluvine, an all-new premium nutricosmetic.
The beauty from within-focused ingredient is designed primarily to reduce cellulite, though it has also been shown to reduce body fat and promote natural weight loss, according to a recent consumer study.1
This launch comes at a time when obesity is becoming increasingly common, with more than one billion people experiencing this condition globally.
Meanwhile, up to 98% of women are impacted by cellulite, which is notoriously difficult to eliminate — making it a notable area of interest for the dietary supplement industry.
Though topical creams may deliver a short-term impact, they rarely address the biological factors responsible for cellulite's formation; which is driven by structural changes in the skin and connective tissue.
By combining a grape extract rich in monomers and viniferin with longevity icon Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) and vitamin C, Celluvine can offer proven benefits to the skin by enhancing firmness, while altering fat metabolism and collagen synthesis
The grape component of this ingredient supports the reduction of adipose tissue, as well as enhancing microcirculation and reducing oxidative stress.
Meanwhile, CoQ10 enhances skin elasticity and firmness through the stimulation of collagen production.
The vitamin C in this formulation works in synergy with CoQ10 to promote normal collagen function, while protecting against oxidative stress.
Real-world study demonstrates Celluvine's efficacy
In a two month proprietary study conducted on 40 women aged between 30 and 50, supplementation with Celluvine:
- Caused a decrease in "orange peel" appearance of the skin in 70% of women
- Reduced body fat mass by an average of 12.4% in 88% of study participants
- Minimised circumference in at least one area of their body (98% of participants)
- Triggered weight loss in 80% of volunteers, with an average loss of 2.3kg
Interestingly, these effects lasted one month after supplementation was halted, suggesting the long-lasting benefits of daily Celluvine intake.
Activ'Inside will host a dedicated webinar on Celluvine, which will discuss the science behind the ingredient, formulation opportunities and consumer insights.
It will be held on 3 July 2025 from 10:30 – 11:30 (UTC+02:00).
