Daymer Ingredients partners with AKV to distribute potato starches to the UK

The functional potato starches will be distributed across the UK by Daymer, and are suitable for a variety of food applications, including soups and sauces

Daymer Ingredients, a UK ingredient supplier, and AKV, a Danish potato ingredients manufacturer, have entered into an agreement to sell AKV’s functional potato starches in the UK. 

AKV’s ‘Clean & Simple’ range of potato starches are clean label, functional ingredients that can withstand demanding processing conditions.

It offers one of the highest peak viscosities in the starch industry, meaning it’s suitable for a variety of food applications.


Managing Director of Daymer Ingredients, James Brace commented: “We’re thrilled to welcome AKV as our latest supply partner and know that our customers will be keen to incorporate its high quality potato starches into their products.
