Triquetra Health launches tri-cofactor vitamin B6 system combining P-5-P, riboflavin and Albion magnesium

BioActive Vitamin B6 targets the conversion and recycling limitations that have long undermined conventional B6 supplementation, with a precision-engineered three-ingredient formulation

Austin-based clinical supplement brand Triquetra Health has launched BioActive Vitamin B6, a formulation it describes as the first tri-cofactor B6 system.

The new formula combines pre-activated pyridoxal-5'-phosphate (P-5-P) with enzymatic cofactors, the company said, which are needed to sustain B6 metabolism throughout the day.

The product is available on Amazon in two strengths: 25 mg Standard and 100 mg Maximum.

The launch addresses what Triquetra identifies as a two-stage failure in the conventional B6 category.

Standard supplements rely on inactive pyridoxine, which requires multi-step hepatic conversion before becoming biologically active — a process pharmacokinetic research suggests succeeds in only one in three consumers.

Switching to single-ingredient P-5-P products resolves the conversion problem but introduces a secondary limitation: without riboflavin to sustain the PNPO recycling enzyme, active B6 levels peak and drop rather than maintaining consistent systemic support.

BioActive Vitamin B6 is formulated to close both gaps. P-5-P delivers the pre-activated coenzyme directly; riboflavin (as an FMN precursor) keeps the PNPO enzyme recycling B6 continuously and Albion TRAACS Magnesium Bisglycinate supports PLK enzyme activation and bidirectional cellular B6 uptake.

Published research cited by the company indicates that combining P-5-P with riboflavin produces 35% more active B6 in blood compared to B6 alone.

The Albion chelate exhibits approximately four times the absorption efficiency of magnesium oxide, as verified by FT-IR spectroscopy.

Both SKUs are manufactured in FDA-registered, cGMP-certified facilities with third-party testing for identity, potency, purity and heavy metals and are free from gluten, soy and GMOs in vegan HPMC capsules.

Sean Gill, founder and CEO of Triquetra Health, said the formulation addresses a gap that has persisted across the category: "Standard pyridoxine conversion is unreliable."

Even active P-5-P products leave the recycling pathway unsupported — and that's why effects seem to fade. The Complete B6 System closes the metabolic loop.
