As the festive lights begin to glow across Paris, the global food industry spotlight is shifting to the busy halls of Paris Expo Porte de Versailles — the venue of this year’s Fi Europe.

The 30th edition of the trade show — running from 2–4 December 2025 — arrives at a pivotal moment for the food, beverage and nutraceutical industries, offering a 3-day showcase that promises inspiration, discovery and connection on a global scale.

A nutraceutical industry on the cusp of transformation

The nutraceutical sector is moving fast — not just in size, but in scope, sophistication and consumer ambition.

Market forecasts suggest the global nutraceutical ingredients business will reach $191.45 billion by 2034, driven by growing interest in “functional foods, wellness trends, and health-conscious consumption.” 

What’s driving this growth? It’s a combination of factors: rising chronic disease prevalence, ageing populations in many regions, greater health awareness amongst various demographics and consumers embracing prevention rather than cure.
