Reading Scientific Services Ltd (RSSL) has announced that the company has added nutritional testing to its portfolio of analytical services.
The firm said in a statement that the move was in response to growing client demand and is backed by a £1.2m investment in a dedicated laboratory designed for high throughput and maximum cost savings.
The news makes RSSL one of the largest nutritional testing service providers in the UK.
"Expanding our service solutions to include nutritional testing is a natural progression and something many of our food and beverage clients have been requesting for some time," said Mark Wilson, Head of Food Sales at RSSL.
"Most importantly, we've created a service that addresses formulation on new products, health claims and labelling compliance, tackling complex formulation challenges or providing critical crisis support."
By combining state-of-the-art instrumentation with a highly experienced analytical team, RSSL's laboratory testing service offers a level of expertise and guidance that is hard to match.
"What's more, we are helping clients drive efficiencies and achieve consistently reliable outcomes."
RSSL’s nutritional testing service offers a comprehensive range of parameters, including ash, carbohydrates, energy, protein, fat, dietary fibre, salt and sugar.
"We are proud to have achieved an NPS score of +70, a clear reflection of RSSL's commitment to delivering a world-class service for clients — and nutritional testing is no exception," said Marta Ahijado, Food Sciences Section Lead.
"Our agile approach means we design programmes around agreed objectives, budgets and timeframes."
Whether we're conducting robust nutritional analysis to satisfy retailer requirements or helping solve complex problems when things go wrong, our focus is always on delivering outstanding service.
