Corbion has scored gold or better every year since 2018 in assessments conducted by EcoVadis, the world’s leading provider of business sustainability ratings.
Corbion ranks within the top two per cent of all companies in its global manufacturing industry segment, marking another milestone in the company’s nine-year engagement with EcoVadis assessments.
Corbion’s 2025 EcoVadis Sustainability Scorecard reflects both strong performance and meaningful progress in several areas compared with last year, including Labour & Human Rights and Sustainable Procurement.
These results demonstrate Corbion’s continued focus on strengthening responsible business practices, transparency and its global supply chain.
Carbon management: “Leader” level recognition
In addition to the Gold Medal, EcoVadis recognised Corbion with its highest designation in climate maturity, naming the company a Carbon Management Level: Leader.
This distinction is reserved for companies with advanced greenhouse-gas (GHG) management systems and best-in-class commitments, actions and reporting capabilities within their respective industries.
The Leader rating recognises Corbion’s SBTi-validated emissions reduction targets, its company-wide plans to cut Scope 1-3 emissions and the integration of climate considerations into core business planning and growth.
"Every year, we see increases in regulatory demands and expectations, so our challenges steepen, even as we progress on our journey," said Olivier Rigaud, CEO of Corbion.
"In 2025, Corbion again earned the gold medal from EcoVadis."
"This is evidence that we do more than keep pace. We help drive positive change, which takes discipline, collaboration and a strong sense of purpose."
The EcoVadis assessment evaluates thousands of companies globally across four key areas: environment, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement.
Corbion’s 2025 scorecard provides customers, partners and stakeholders with a transparent and independent confirmation of its sustainability performance.
