TriNutra's OmegaQuin supplement has received approval from Health Canada for a spectrum of benefits, including cognition support, gut wellness and metabolic health claims.
OmegaQuin is a supplement comprised of the company's cold-pressed extract virgin black seed (Nigella sativa) oil nutraceutical, ThymoQuin, and omega-3-rich fish oil.
According to TriNutra, the ingredients work in tandem to effectively modulate inflammation better than the ingredients can alone.
Studies back OmegaQuin's efficacy
A recently published study on OmegaQuin has revealed that the dietary supplement is able to reduce inflammation in the body, while also positively modulating fat storage and energy production.
Studies also suggest that OmegaQuin plays a role in reducing blood sugar levels and reducing insulin resistance — highlighting the functional ingredient's potential in a metabolic health or weight management niche.1
OmegaQuin can also support a user's cognitive health by reducing stress levels and improving mood, which may be achieved through the supplement's effect on the gut-brain axis.2
