TraceGains, the leading provider of compliance, quality and innovation solutions for the food and beverage (F&B) industry, unveiled its IDP solution in March this year, introducing a powerful vertical AI Model to F&B brands built on rich contextual TraceGains data to automate the processing of Certificates of Analysis (CoAs).
“We are delighted to have been shortlisted for this prestigious award in such a competitive field,” said Michelle Henry (pictured), Director of Sales for Europe at TraceGains.
“As demand for supply chain visibility and digital transformation accelerates across the continent and the world as a whole, TraceGains is scaling its presence to meet customer needs in key markets."
"Being shortlisted for this award underlines how we are not only expanding our footprint but also our impact on customers’ businesses across Europe.”
Traditionally, CoA review has been a slow, manual, labour-intensive and error-prone process, consuming thousands of combined hours each year and creating supply chain risks.
“IDP solves this by automatically extracting, validating and standardising data from non-standardised documents, cross-checking them against product specifications, and flagging deviations for human review,” said Michelle.
“Purpose-built to streamline COA processing to ensure a product's compliance in terms of quality, performance and safety, TraceGains’ IDP eliminates the need for manual processes while improving accuracy and operational efficiency across workflows.”
“Beyond efficiency gains, IDP reduces risk, helps to prevent costly product recalls and protects brand reputations,” added Michelle.
“As the system evolves and sharpens with time, its accuracy and value only increase, creating a compounding competitive advantage."
"This innovation positions TraceGains as a global leader in digital transformation for the food and drink sector and helps manufacturers meet rising demands for compliance, sustainability and consumer safety.”
TraceGains IDP represents a breakthrough in automating CoA verification, one of the most time-consuming and error-prone areas of food manufacturing.
“With IDP, TraceGains introduces a vertical-specific AI solution built on OpenAI models and powered by more than a decade of contextual food and drink data,” explained Michelle.
“IDP automatically extracts relevant data from incoming CoAs, compares it against stringent product specifications, and flags any deviations.”
“Unlike generic OCR (Optical Character Reader) tools, IDP can handle non-standardised and unfamiliar document formats, delivering superior accuracy and continuous learning.”
The results speak for themselves, with manufacturers saving over 50 hours per site per month, dramatically reducing manual labour and improving supply chain safety and compliance.
IDP also reduces the risk of costly recalls and enhances sustainability by eliminating rework and waste linked to undetected non-conformance.
