Pharmexcil, a ministry set up by the Government of India as a gateway to the global pharma trade, presents awards each year to acknowledge those companies that achieve significant export success.
The awards were presented at Pharmexcil‘s 14th annual meeting, sponsored by the Department of Commerce & Industry, Government of India.
Dr S. Natajaran, Sr Vice President of R&D, Sami Labs, accepted the award on behalf of the company.
"With offices around the world selling our well-researched products, we’re pleased to see such wide demand for the ingredients we make in India,” said Sami-Sabinsa Group founder Dr Muhammed Majeed.
“We thank Pharmexcil for their support in once again recognising our success.”
Previous honours Sami Labs has received from Pharmexcil in the herbals category include Outstanding Export Performance for 2016–2017, both Patents and Outstanding Export recognition for 2015–2016, the top Pharmexcil Patent Award for 2014–2015 and, in 2012–2013 Herbals, Ayurveda and Nutraceuticals category.
