Our industry, much like many others, grapples with the ongoing challenge of meeting skyrocketing consumer demands, whether from customers, internal stakeholders, or government officials
- Chaitanya Desai, Chief Operating Officer
Spanning an impressive 17,000 sqft, this state-of-the-art facility took ten months to complete and boasts an array of cutting-edge equipment, including high-volume extractors with varied capacities and advanced spray driers to be more efficient. It also brings an era of heightened automation, facilitating the enclosed material transfer and handling for strict quality control. This expansive and modernised facility also revolutionises how OmniActive commits itself to the environment with the introduction of a new water treatment facility and a steam-generating boiler fueled by sustainable sources.
This substantial investment builds upon recent enhancements to OmniActive's lutein plant in Hosur and two other plants in Pune, seamlessly integrating into the fully vertically integrated supply chain that powers the entire Lutemax product portfolio and premier lutein ingredients.
"Our industry, much like many others, grapples with the ongoing challenge of meeting skyrocketing consumer demands, whether from customers, internal stakeholders, or government officials," acknowledged Chaitanya Desai, Chief Operating Officer. "By continuously updating and expanding our facilities, we proactively address the ever-evolving market and our global commitment to social and environmental needs. And, with this new building, we will be able to add to our workforce and welcome even more OmniActive employees to our company as we continue to grow."
The ceremonial ribbon cutting, accompanied by the traditional coconut-breaking ceremony, was presided over by Sanjaya Mariwala, Chairman and Managing Director of OmniActive, along with distinguished corporate leaders, passionate employees, and esteemed government officials who united to herald this new chapter of success for the company.
