Monteloeder debuts cognitive health-boosting nootropic, MINDREVIVE

Published: 16-Oct-2024

The nootropic nutraceutical blend is designed to support a user's cognitive performance and short-term memory, and will debut at SupplySide West 2024

Monteloeder has launched its novel cognition-supporting nutraceutical, MINDREVIVE.

The Suannutra subsidiary's nootropic functional ingredient blend contains a sage, japanese pagoda tree and rutin extract, and is suitable for those looking to enhance their short-term memory and cognitive performance.

The proprietary blend will make its debut at this year's SupplySide West, so attendees will be able to discuss the nutraceutical further with Monteloeder.

Clinical evidence mounting for the benefits of nootropic ingredients

According to the company, a recent study has called attention to the benefits of these botanical extracts on cognition.1

It appears that the three nootropics can offer users a significant increase in memory retention, while also boosting mental sharpness.

Beyond the widespread use of sage as a herb, its nutritional value and potential as an antioxidant has not gone unnoticed by the nutraceutical industry.

Studies in animal and cell models have highlighted the ability of sage to assist nerve cells in communication by limiting the breakdown of acetylcholine (ACh).

ACh is a crucial molecule involved in the transmission of nerve signals — highlighting the potential role of sage in boosting brain health and connectivity, while also protecting the nervous system from damage.

Monteloeder's Chief Science Officer, Jonathan Jones, commented: “We conducted extensive research to identify nootropic ingredients that have demonstrated mental health benefits in clinical studies,”

"Our goal was to create a natural solution to support cognitive function that is also safe and effective for everyday use. MINDREVIVE™ has
organoleptic properties that can be formulated into any dietary supplement format — with the optimal dosage sitting at just 400mg/day.

The growing potential of nootropics for cognitive health

According to research from Future Market Insights, the cognitive health space is growing, and consumers are increasingly looking for solutions that can help them to take care of arguably the most important organ: the brain.

As well as this, Harvard Medical School reports that around 25% of adults older than 50 take a supplement to help them with their memory.

With the nootropic market expected to double to nearly USD $4.2bn by 2033, companies could consider including this ingredient type in their cognitive health formulations.2

Suannutra's Marketing Director, Maria Ángeles-Gutiérrez, noted: “Consumers are actively seeking ways to improve their mental performance, citing reasons such as work-related stress, increased cognitive demands and a desire to maintain mental sharpness as they age.”

“Consumers want natural alternatives that not only enhance cognitive performance but also support overall mental health. MINDREVIVE taps into current trends in the nootropic space, while also aligning with consumer demands for products that promote holistic well-being.”
