Laboratoire PYC has officially opened its new dietary supplement production site in Manziat, France.
After 18 months of building, the facility is ready to support both French and international customers in the development, production and packaging of their products.
The 4600m2 site will have be able to produce both functional foods and high-protein products.
It will also feature:
- Climate control of the blending workshop
- Laminar flow weighing to protect operators and reduce allergen contamination
- Heavy product handling aids
- Green electricity to power the washing of tanks
A novel powder blending workshop now also supplies 13 packaging lines present in the facility.
According to Laboratoire PYC, the site and its equipment meet the safety standards of the agri-food industry.
To expand on this, the team is now aiming for FSSC 22000 certification.
