Howaru Probiotics of IFF (formerly DuPont Nutrition and Biosciences) is hosting two virtual summits: Emerge, aimed to help emerging direct to consumer companies in the microbiome wellness industry; and Evolve, which is planned to discuss trends in microbiome health.
During both full-day virtual experiences, attendees will be able to network with peers and hear from industry professionals including George Paraskevakos, Executive Director, International Probiotics Association; Brenda Watson, CEO of Vital Planet; Aaron Secrist, Executive VP of Quality, Regulatory Affairs & Operations, NOW Foods.
Attendees will also be able to speak to IFF microbiome scientists about industry trends, including probiotic combinations to support women’s health and immune health.
This includes the company’s latest product for brain health, Howaru Calm - L. paracasei Lpc-37 - which has been shown to manage the psychological response to perceived stress and support a relaxed state of mind.
“The global microbiome market is swiftly evolving, as consumers become more aware of the link between the microbiota-gut-brain axis, and an increased focus is placed on the relevance of probiotics within the human microbiome,” said Jennifer Montgomery, Marketing Manager, IFF. “By leveraging our expertise to provide emerging companies the strategies they need to build and cultivate a legacy brand -- and by equipping microbiome innovators with fresh insights to stay ahead of consumer trends -- we hope to continue redefining the industry and propelling it ever forward.”
At Emerge, Howaru Probiotics will discuss ways to overcome manufacturing and regulatory challenges, how to elevate brand positioning and the strains and formulations informing product development decisions.
At the Evolve summit on the 24th of February, Howaru will dive into market intelligence on consumer purchasing patterns and insight into the changing consumer landscape, and the actions needed to engage in priority health categories.
