The company will debut a pea texturant, as well as a range of protein and prebiotic functional ingredients

GoodMills Innovation has announced that it will be attending this year's FiE.

At the event, the company will present a range of functional foods — including cereals and pulses — to add health benefits to bakery products, as well as meat and fish substitutes.

The plant-based solutions include:

  • VITATEX Pea Flakes M SVP/SVP Pro: Two newly introduced pea-based texturants which are ideal for vegetable nuggets, chunks or tuna alternatives
  • VITATEX Wheat Fava Flakes SVP Pro: A product in the final stage of development that has a highly fibrous structure and a firm bite, with strong water absorption capacity. It is ideal for nuggets and schnitzels, but also plant-based tuna
  • GoWell Tasty: A flavourless, vegan, clean-label protein blend for baked goods, which can be integrated into existing recpies to boost its functional protein content. It contains field beans and peas, as well as sunflower and wheat protein
  • Snow Prebiotic Fibres: A recently launched product, the multi-fibre functional food complex enhances the sensory properties and nutrition of baked goods, including bread, rolls, biscuits, waffles and pancakes.

Based in Hamburg, Germany, GoodMills Innovation develops clean label ingredients based on cereals and pulses for a wide range of applications in the food, bakery, snack and nutraceutical industries.

Visitors can sample the products for themselves at FiE, booth 4.1J61.
