At Fi Europe Connect, Informa Markets says it’s created a platform for exhibitors and participants to connect, do business and learn from F&B industry experts virtually.
The digital event, taking place from 23 November to 4 December 2020, focuses on networking, lead generation and education for the international ingredients industry. The event aims to bridge the gap created by the postponement of the live event, Fi Europe co-located with Hi Europe.
The platform is based on detailed visitor and exhibitor profiles. More than 8,000 participants expected by Informa Markets can search for relevant companies and their product portfolios, application areas, information videos and contacts.
An AI-controlled algorithm based on attendee profiles offers recommendations for suppliers and manufacturers with matching profiles. For matches created, appointments can be arranged via Fi Europe Connect or held directly on the platform by chat or video conference function.
An exhibitor list with filter functions provides an overview of the 300+ companies that will be exhibiting at Fi Europe Connect. In addition, the event programme is dedicated to a different trending topic or application area each day, including ‘Plant-based’, ‘Beverages’, ‘Health & Wellbeing’, ‘Taste & Texture’ and ‘Regulatory’.
More than 116 panel discussions, live events and webinars will be supplemented by digital offerings such as the exhibitor showcase sessions, in which exhibitors will explain their solutions in more detail, and daily speed networking.
Brand Director Julien Bonvallet said: “Fi Europe Connect will be a clearly structured and well-organized platform; we have deliberately focused on the essentials. For us, the main thing is that participants can view products and solutions that are of interest for them in just a few clicks, and can make appointments with interesting manufacturers just as easily. For exhibitors, there are many different presentation formats for their products, and the opportunity to generate valuable leads.”
