Deerland Enzymes & Probiotics, an international enzyme and probiotic-based dietary supplement formulator, specialty service provider and contract manufacturer, is pleased to announce that it has earned the ISO/IEC 17025:2005 certification from the ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board (ANAB).
The International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) is globally recognised for its high-quality standards, which cover a wide range of industries and processes that aim to raise the bar for corporate performance and continuous improvement.
The ISO 17025:2005 standard specifies the quality management and technical requirements that laboratories must meet to demonstrate technical competency and adherence to strict quality measures for testing, data reporting and process control in the laboratory.
The scope of Deerland’s accreditation includes the quality control lab’s most frequently performed enzyme assay and microbiological release methods.
The ISO 17025:2005 accreditation follows the company’s recent ISO 9001:2015 certification.
“This is another example of our team’s commitment to continuous improvement,” says Hope Hanley, Vice President of Quality and Regulatory Affairs at Deerland Enzymes & Probiotics.
“Obtaining ISO 17025 certification demonstrates Deerland’s technical competency, assuring customers of the laboratory’s ability to produce accurate and precise results in the testing of dietary supplements,” she explains.
In addition to customised formulations, the company offers a line of university and clinically studied branded products. Deerland provides regulatory support and also performs specialty contract manufacturing services, including bulk blends, liquids, hard shell capsules and tablets, as well as bottling and labelling.
