BI promotes new West Coast Regional Sales Manager

BI recently announced the promotion of Julie Bates, a Customer Service Representative for seven years, to West Coast Regional Sales Manager.

BI is a global full-service supplier of dietary supplement and functional food ingredients including whole herb powders and teas, standardised and ratio extracts, custom blends, vitamins, minerals, drum to hopper custom blends.

Responsibilities of West Coast Regional Sales Manager include supporting and expanding BI's strong position with West Coast (US) customers, as well as growing the company's customer base within the region.

With the recent retirement of Nicole Robertson, who was with BI for 18 years, BI needed to recruit an individual with intimate knowledge of the industry, along with a strong familiarity of BI’s customers.

Bates has worked for BI for seven years as both a Customer Service and International Sales Representative. Her experience extends beyond BI to her previous employment at Bumble Bee Tuna as a Customer Service Representative and Inside Sales Manager.
