Alvinesa Natural Ingredients acquires Industrias Vinicas and Dervinsa

The acquisition will strengthen the company's presence in the American markets while bolstering its by-product valorisation capabilities

Alvinesa Natural Ingredients, a grape and olive functional ingredients specialist, has acquired two companies in grape and olive by-product valorisation in Chile and Argentina. 

This strategic move has strengthened the market presence of the company in biofuels, functional foods, grape tannins, dietary supplements and polyphenols. 

It also provides the company with: 

  • Access to raw materials in the Southern hemisphere, allowing for a reduction in price fluctuations
  • Expanding production capacity through the addition of three production centres 
  • Commercial strengthening through an expanding global footprint 

Alvinesa has recently certified as a B Corp, while also receiving the FSSC 22000 compliancy status; viewing this acquisition as a step forward in its goal to expand operations globally.
