NanoSphere Health Sciences enters market with nano-sized nutraceutical delivery
Advanced nanobiotechnology enables transport of dietary supplements directly to blood and cells for maximum benefits
US-based NanoSphere Health Sciences, an innovative developer of the industry-first, patent-pending NanoSphere nutraceutical delivery system, has officially launched the company.
The team of researchers and scientists at NanoSphere Health Sciences has invested more than 20 years in the creation of its patent-pending delivery system and potent formulas. The company has developed a unique method of encapsulating vitamins, minerals, super-nutrients and nutraceuticals as natural, nano-sized lipid spheres.
NanoSphere Gels transport the ingredients directly into the bloodstream and cells for the most rapid and effective results. The NanoSphere Gel formulas require no fillers, binders or other additives, ensuring that only the pure, essential nutrients and therapeutic ingredients are included.
NanoSphere Health Sciences provides the world’s first and only delivery system platform that supports even hard-to-absorb, poorly soluble and unstable nutraceuticals, including fat soluble vitamins, fatty acids, minerals, phytochemicals, peptides and botanical extracts.
NanoSphere Health Sciences is the first to apply nanobiotechnology to improve the bioavailability and efficacy of a full range of dietary supplements
“While significant efforts and investments have been made in the pharmaceutical industry, NanoSphere Health Sciences is the first to apply nanobiotechnology to improve the bioavailability and efficacy of a full range of dietary supplements,” said Dr Richard Kaufman, chief science officer at NanoSphere Health Sciences. “This disruptive technology introduces significant new opportunities in nutritional supplementation, and will help elevate the growth potential of the nutraceuticals industry.”
Many traditional tablets and capsules do not break down properly and go into solution in the digestive system, rendering them ineffective. Others are inactivated in the GI tract and destroyed by the liver, failing to reach the bloodstream intact. Ongoing research supports the ability of NanoSpheres to increase the bioavailability of nutraceuticals up to six times that of traditional vitamins and capsule supplements.
“In addition to bioavailability concerns, nearly 50% of consumers are unable or unwilling to swallow pills, and therefore may be missing out on essential vitamins, minerals and other beneficial dietary supplements,” said Kate Sutton, VP of marketing at NanoSphere Health Sciences. “The convenience of getting the purest forms of nutrients via an easy-to-take NanoSphere Gel formula removes many of the common barriers to nutritional supplementation.”
NanoSphere Health Sciences expects general availability of the product line in early July.
