Visitors will be able to meet the Faravelli team at Nutraceuticals Europe – Summit & Expo, an international event for the industry of functional ingredients, novel foods and finished products which takes place in Madrid on 27-28 February at the Palacio Municipal de Congresos.
At stand C02 Faravelli Nutra Division will present a complete range of ingredients and solutions particularly dedicated to food supplements and functional foods, including Fibracep, an innovative ingredient obtained from agriculture by-products and launched by Biomed, a Spanish start-up.
Fibracep is a new patented formula based on fibers extracted from natural sources, which acts on cardiovascular and metabolic agent. In several randomised clinical trials, and with a placebo control group, Fibracep has been shown to be effective in modulating the risk of developing the Metabolic Syndrome, by acting on several of its components.
Fibracep is a patented bioactive product that contains fibers from the agri-food industry capable of reducing the absorption of cholesterol in the small intestine and stimulating the production of HDL in the liver.
