In its range of clean label food supplements, Laboratoire PYC claims it has reduced the ingredients to a strict minimum. The company aims for everyone to be able to consume the supplements for their health benefits without superfluous ingredients.
The naturalness of the products and the attention paid to health are nowadays the main reasons given for taking food supplements, according to Synadiet research. Consumers are sensitive to their composition and expect transparency from manufacturers and brands.
The clean label applies to all parts of the supplement supply chain, the company says, from ingredients to finished product.
For its clean label food supplements, the company produces products without silicon dioxide nor titanium dioxide and eliminates the use of GMOs. It uses natural flavours and colouring, provides sweetness with stevia extracts, and uses vegetable fibre-based carriers for R&D.
The supplements are formulated as orodispersible or water-soluble powders, packaged in sticks, sachets, pots or stand-up pouches. The products are aimed at the immunity, slimming and nutricosmetic segments.
