GOED, the Global Organization for EPA and DHA Omega-3s, has partnered with ClearCut Analytics, provider of ecommerce analytics and insights, to present a webinar on the EPA and DHA supplement category on Amazon.com in the US. The webinar will take place on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at 9:00 am PDT and is scheduled for 30 minutes plus Q&A.

Specifically, the webinar will focus on how the omega-3 supplement market has evolved in the last year, with a look at pre-COVID data as compared to now. It will look at which subcategories, such as fish and krill oil, and which health benefit areas, such as heart and brain health, are doing particularly well. It will also compare omega-3 supplement performance to other supplement categories and look at where new opportunities may be emerging.

The presentation will discuss other key insights about category entrants, third party resellers, and top-selling products; and the latest on platform challenges related to the new supplement guidelines that go into effect in May.

“ClearCut is thrilled to share insights about the omega-3 supplement market with the GOED community,” said Daniel Harari, VP of business development for ClearCut Analytics. “Over the past year, omega-3 supplement sales have increased by 44% on Amazon. It’s evident that the demand is hot, and Amazon is the first indicator of consumer trends that will shape the future of the industry. We’ll touch on some of these trends in our webinar.”

“Many in the omega-3 category are interested in understanding what is happening on Amazon.com as a key retail influencer,” said Ellen Schutt, Executive Director of GOED. “Learnings from this webinar should benefit the omega-3 industry and may help fuel growth in the category.”
