DouleuRx has added Unibar's CapsiClear, an eye health ingredient, to its product portfolio.
The ingredient is standardised to 50% capsanthin, a carotenoid which reportedly delivers holistic vision care, helping to improve macular pigment optical density for improved protection against digital screens and better visual performance and acuity as well as provide support to the functions that regulate intraocular pressure (IOP).
Managing IOP reduces the risk of long-term eye debilitations and damage and is normally reduced via prescription eye drops, but CapsiClear potentially delivers the same efficacy via an oral application, the company claims.
