Full service CRO proposes anti-pollution claims substantiation

CIDP, the Centre International de Développement Pharmaceutique, a Mauritius-based private and independent contract research organisation (CRO), announces its participation in in-cosmetics 2017 from 4–6 April in London, UK.

At the event, CIDP will share more about its full suite of services with the cosmetics industry, as well as present its innovative study protocol for substantiating anti-pollution claims made on cosmetic products.

CIDP is a pioneer international group that specialises in research and development activities for cosmetics, pharmaceutical, medical device and nutrition industries.

With more than 15 years of experience, CIDP is a leading company in the field offering extensive scientific expertise in the dermo-cosmetics sector.

“Having served the personal care market for nearly two decades, CIDP is familiar with manufacturers’ research needs and well-versed with the techniques required,” said Mr Jean-Louis Roule, CEO of CIDP. “We’re excited to introduce a new set of standard methodologies to address the rising popularity of anti-pollution claims at in-cosmetics this year.”

One of the most widely accepted mechanism of action of pollutants on the skin is based on the formation of reactive oxygen species (ROS), and the interaction of these free radicals with biological components.

On 4 April at 17:15, Mrs Véronique Newton, R&D Manager at CIDP, will deliver a presentation on the company’s innovative study protocol for substantiating the anti-pollution claim in an in-cosmetics conference session held in Theatre 3.

Visitors can also find out more about CIDP’s study protocol and full suite of services, which comprises research activities, in vitro testing, analytical chemistry, formulation and clinical research at booth DD11.
