BENEO, a manufacturer of functional ingredients, has appointed Jon Peters as President of BENEO Inc. He will lead the company’s business for the Americas Region (US, Canada, Mexico and South America) from its US headquarters in New Jersey.
Peters said. 'This is truly an exciting opportunity to build on BENEO’s already excellent reputation while continuing to expand the organisation with an expert team that enhances our value to customers in the Americas region.'
He said BENEO Inc will 'build the Americas team to turn product portfolio benefits into solutions that meet consumer needs'. As an example of this focus, the US-based application technology team has recently been expanded to develop and communicate regional product concepts to the diverse markets of the Americas. Additional sales and nutrition science resources will also be added within the region over the next several months.
Prior to joining BENEO, Peters was Senior Director at DSM Nutritional Products, Inc. He brings to the company diverse experience and proven leadership in a variety of sales, marketing, operations, and management positions, having worked for more than 20 years in the human and animal nutrition industries. He is a graduate of the University of Minnesota and holds a BS in Genetics and Cell Biology.
