Aker Biomarine continues to strengthen its sustainability position by adding new talent to the team

Christina Ianssen joins as the company’s new Manager of Sustainability and Public Affairs

“It’s the opportunity of a lifetime for me to work in the sustainability department at a company that shares my values,” says Christina Ianssen, Aker BioMarine’s New Manager of Sustainability and Public Affairs.

Perceiving Aker BioMarine as an innovative company, Christina is looking forward to making her mark and helping to lead initiatives in which she can make a positive difference.

Since starting at Aker BioMarine, Christina has already been involved in several ambitious projects within Aker BioMarine’s supply chain.

Her background in environmental policy and regulatory, combined with solid experience of technological innovation in industrial sectors like maritime and green build, brings great value to the company.

Christina comes from the position as Senior Adviser for the environmental foundation Bellona. Prior to that, she worked for Sterling PBES, an energy solution provider for the maritime industry.

She holds a Master’s of Science in International Business and Politics from Copenhagen Business School, where she also obtained her Bachelor’s degree.
