ADM (Stand J79) will highlight its innovative, value-added ingredients for the sports food, health food, weight management and supplements categories.

Experts from ADM will be on hand to present health-focused ingredients from ADM’s new WILD Flavors & Specialty Ingredients business unit. ADM’s 2014 acquisition of WILD was a significant step in the company’s effort to expand its value added ingredients portfolio.

In the spotlight at the show will be a selection of ADM’s versatile soy and wheat proteins for diverse applications, including ADM’s CLARISOY isolated soy protein range, which enables the protein fortification of beverage systems.

As the world’s first vegetable-based protein offering clarity and high quality protein nutrition, the CLARISOY line has been specifically designed for use in neutral-pH beverage applications, such as meal replacement and fortification beverages.

Showcased alongside CLARISOY will be ADM’s Textura range of protein crisps that can be customised to individual formulation needs. Textura crisps are a great source of high quality protein, fibre and whole grains, available in a range of protein contents, which can be incorporated into food products to enhance nutrient content, texture and flavour in a cost-effective way.

In line with ADM’s focus on healthful ingredients are Novasoy soy isoflavones, which are often incorporated into products for women at the time of menopause. Additional highlights will be Novatol, a natural source of vitamin E, as well as Decanox, a range of natural antioxidants for use as additives in food, feed and cosmetic applications.

In addition, visitors to the stand can learn about ADM’s value-added lecithin products, including Adlec (standard, non-GM and IP), a fluid soy lecithin, which provides moisture retention and emulsification in high-viscosity applications, and its xanthan gum, NovaXan, which provides superior thickening, suspension and stabilisation for an extensive array of food products.

In addition to the WILD Flavors & Specialty Ingredients group, ADM’s French-based subsidiary Société Industrielle des Oléagineux (SIO) will highlight a range of specialty oils with nutritional or functional benefits that can be used in food, pharmaceutical, and cosmetic applications (www.adm.com).
